Party Rock Tour: I’m In Las Vegas Bitch
The bunk area of the Party Rock Tour bus gets so dark that no matter what time it is, it feels like it’s 4 a.m. The Party Rock Crew rolled out of bed around 2 p.m. when we hit Vegas. It was off to sound check for the boys, followed by an in-store signing.
The House of Blues show was one of the best LMFAO shows ever, according to Foo. I have to agree. The boys were on point; Far East Movement was party rocking out backstage and the crowd was incredible—high energy, hands in the air and party rocked out, head-to-toe. Joe Cada, who is at the finalists' table of the World Series of Poker tournament in Vegas right now, joined us onstage to perform "Yes." It was fitting to hear him sing, "everyday I see my dream" because he truly is seeing his dream everyday. At just 21 years old, he is a multi-millionaire.
During “Yes,” several girls joined us onstage, in addition to DJ Hollywood Hype, Far East Movement and Chelsea Paradiso of the Paradiso Girls. With the confetti, Patron and, of course, Foo and Sky’s delivery, the show ended with a bang.
After the performance, it was off to the Bellagio where we ate, drank and gambled in true Vegas fashion. The LMFAO afterparty was at the Bank, an exclusive nightclub inside the Bellagio. The other groups on the Party Rock Tour, as well as reps from the label, Interscope, and Cherry Tree Records came out to party with us. The VIP section was packed with party people and bottles of Goose. After spinning old school for most of the night, the DJ finally put on “Shots” and “I’m In Las Vegas Bitch” and the whole club went absolutely wild. We popped a bottle of champagne and stood up on the sofas to sing along.
After the Party Rock Crew’s 5 a.m. storytelling, which was like an X-rated version of a bedtime story, we all went to sleep. We’re now at sound check at the Hollywood Palladium, preparing for the eagerly awaited, completely sold out hometown show. GET READY, PARTY PEOPLE!
